Rattle and Hum est un album et un film du groupe de rock irlandais U2, dont les sorties respectives sont le 10 octobre 1988 et le 27 octobre 1988. L’album est produit par Jimmy Iovine et le film par Michael Hamlyn.

Il est constitué essentiellement d’un mélange de titres live et de nouveaux titres studios enregistrés durant le Joshua Tree Tour. Parmi ces derniers, quatre singles verront le jour, notamment Desire (n°1 en Angleterre à sa sortie) aux accents très rythm'n'blues inspiré à la fois des Stooges et de Bo Diddley. Angel of Harlem est une chanson soul dédiée à Billie Holiday, tandis que When Love Comes to Town est co-interprétée avec la légende du blues BB King. Enfin, All I Want Is You connaitra également un succès commercial en juin 1989.

Figurent également au programme une version live de I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking for interprétée avec the New Voices of Freedom, une chorale de Harlem, un extrait de Freedom for My People interprétée par Adam Gussow and Sterling Magee et un extrait de The Star-Spangled Banner interprétée par Jimi Hendrix au concert de Woodstock en 1969.
