Michael Prophet, de son vrai nom Michael Haynes est un chanteur de reggae jamaïcain né en 1957 à Kingston. Il a été découvert par le chanteur et producteur Yabby You, mais son plus gros hit reste à ce jour le titre Gunman, produit par Henry "Junjo" Lawes en 1981.
