Pink Floyd est un des groupes de rock qui a vu le plus de disques pirates sortir dans le commerce. On en compte plusieurs centaines. La quasi-totalité de ces enregistrements ont été réalisés lors de concerts. Il existe aussi quelques rares enregistrements studios passés dans le circuit des disques pirates ; la plupart sont des prises alternatives de Syd Barrett.

Comme tous les disques pirates, ceux de Pink Floyd sont de qualité très inégale : ils varient entre l’excellent, notamment pour les concerts de 1994 et 1998 grâce aux progrès technologiques, et le très mauvais pour ceux entre 1967 et 1971.
