Endoscopic image of ulcerative colitis affecting the left side of colon, released with permission of patient into public domain on Sept 8, 2004. -- Samir ∙ Talk 07:39, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
Note that the classic features of ulcerative colitis are not seen here, and that the image resembles Crohn's colitis as it shows serpigious ulcers. The purpose of this image is to show the difficulty in differentiating between the two disorders on endoscopy. -- Samir ∙ Talk 09:30, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
