S.O.D., pour Stormtroopers of Death (lu comme un acronyme, sod veut dire « couillon » en anglais), est un groupe américain de Thrash Metal et de Thrashcore On appelait alors ce style Crossover (cf DRI et l'album de ce nom).

- La chanson "Seasoning the Obese" qui figure comme chanson bonus sur leur album Bigger than the Devil est un pastiche du groupe Slayer. Le titre parodie Seasons in the Abyss.
