| Description |
Recto of rongorongo Tablet E (Keiti). This tablet was given to the University of Louvain and was destroyed when the Germans set fire to the town in 1914. One corner is damaged and it has numerous holes. According to Chauvet, this photo were taken in Papeete (Tahiti) in the early 1880s by the widow of Mr. Hoare. |
