[modifier] French translation

Hello! As the editor who succeeded in bringing the English article "Richard Hakluyt" to Good Article status and later on to Featured Article status, congratulations on successfully translating the English article into French. I'm afraid I don't speak French, but it seems like a good job has been done! — Cheers, JackLee. 15 décembre 2007 à 15:03 (CET)

[modifier] Update to English version of "Richard Hakluyt"

I've updated the English version of "Richard Hakluyt". Although one source claims that Hakluyt's first publication was A Shorte and Briefe Narration of the Two Nauigations and Discoueries to the Northwest Partes Called Newe Fraunce (1580), new information suggests that this book was actually translated by John Florio and not by Hakluyt. I've therefore amended the text in the sections "At the English Embassy in Paris" and "Edited and translated". You may wish to amend the French version of the article accordingly. — Cheers, JackLee 18 février 2008 à 04:28 (CET)
