Nemesis is a 1993 science-fiction film by director Albert Pyun, who made the movie Cyborg, it stars Olivier Gruner as a burned out police assassin named Alex. Alex does a mission for his bosses in the futuristic LAPD, and kills several freedom fighters, including one of the leaders Rosaria, played by Jennifer Gatti. He tries to leave the LAPD, and he becomes a petty criminal, doing odd jobs in the underwold. However his LAPD bosses are just letting him run free for a while, and when they need him, they get him. His old boss (Tim Thomerson) has him kidnapped.

They bring him back for one last mission to kill the leaders of the freedom fighters. The only problem is, the freedom fighters are fighting not against government control of peoples lives, but for humanity's very future! A new race of androids is infiltrating human society, copying the minds of certain people into robotic bodies, and making them loyal to the cyborg cause. Alex discovers he has a bomb implaned in his arm, and it is a race against time to find the leader of the freedom fighters (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa) and get the bomb deactivated before he explodes. He finds the leaders just in time, and joins the cause of the freedom fighters, called the Red Army Hammerheads. But as they are making their escape in an aerodyne, a cybog that was thought destroyed attacks, and Alex is revealed to be a cyborg himself!

The evil cyborg is defeated, and the aerodyne flies off. The movie ends with Ales and his rival on a rooftop, and Alex makes a witty remark he referenced earlier in the movie, then shoots the cyborg in the goonies. Alex walks off with his sidekick (Merle Kennedy) and they joke about how they are going to smuggle his metallic body through Los Angeles customs.
