Larry McMurtry

Larry McMurtry (3 juin 1936 à Wichita Falls, Texas) est un romancier, essayiste et scénariste américain.
Il est surtout connu pour son prix Pulitzer pour le roman Lonesome Dove qui a été adapté en un feuilleton télé.
Depuis 1992, il travaille ses scénarios avec Diana Ossana avec laquelle il a écrit le scénario de Brokeback Mountain pour lequel il a remporté en 2006, l'Oscar du meilleur scénario adapté.
