Gregory Shane Helms ( né le 12 juillet 1974 en Caroline du nord) est un catcheur américain qui travaille à la WWE, il fait parti de la division SMACKDOWN!
Helms débute le catch en 1991.
Helms a eu le plus long règne de champion dans l'histoire de Smackdown, gardant son titre de Cruserweight du PPV Royal Rumble, le 29/01/2006, jusqu'au PPV No Way Out, le 18/02/2007, soit un règne d'1 an et 21 jours.
Auparavant, il incarnait le personnage de The Hurricane. Il est considéré comme l'un des plus talentueux cruiserweights au monde, possédant un arsenal de prises très impressionnant.

Le 1er mai, il se blesse au cou lors d'un match contre Jimmy Wang Yang qu'il l'éloignera des rings jusque juin 2008 Dans le courant d'avril 2008, il demande à ses fans dans lequels de ces 3 gimmicks veulent-ils qu'il revienne. la gimmick de The Hurricane est arrivé première.
