Military naval ensign of Italy. Generated in Inkscape, based on images at the World Flag Database and other sources, as well as information at Flags of the World. Tricolour scheme derived from Image:Flag of Italy.svg.

This flag took me only one day to reconstruct, but it required a profound amount of effort to get all the details into the flag.

This version of the flag, with the lion bringing a upward sword and a big crown above the four ancient maritime republic, is used by military navy ↑
