Taken from V/A (1996) Durruti 1896-1936. London: Active/Beastie. The pictures featured on this book were taken from the Internationaale Instituut voor Sociale Geschiedenis (Amsterdam), the Archivo Histórico Nacional de Salamanca and from the personal archives of José Roig and Abel Paz. There is no individual reference to from which each picture belongs to. The book does not feature any copyright reference. The photographer is not known. It has been taken in the Aragón front most probably between July and November, 1936 (the portrayed left Aragón in November and died in December, 1936, in Madrid).
