The Bloodhound Gang est un groupe américain de rock pop originaire de Quakertown, en Pennsylvanie. Groupe aux paroles engagées , il est fondé en 1994 par Jimmy Pop Ali qui décide de le monter avec quatre amis.

Le groupe signe en 1995 chez Columbia Records et sort son premier album "Use your fingers". En 1996, ils signent chez Republic Records et enregistrent "One fierce beer coaster". Cet album est un succès, et "Fire water burn" devient la chanson la plus demandée aux USA.

Changeant encore de maison de disques pour Geffen et après 2 ans de tournée, le groupe sort fin 1999 "Hooray for boobies", dont est extrait leur plus grand succès, The Bad Touch, dont la version radio a été remixée par Eiffel 65. Comme le 1er album, on n'arrive toujours pas à qualifier le style de ce groupe : il reste très ancré dans le rock mais oscille entre hip-hop, hardcore et dance, cependant toujours avec des paroles très grivoises et pétries de jeux de mots.

Leur dernier album en date, "Hefty Fine", est sorti en 2005.
