Sorry I dont speak French, pleace don't kill me because of that. There seems to be wrong information in the article. Tampere United was formed in July 1998. The initial plan was to join two local football clubs FC Ilves and TPV but at the end of the day TPV continued as its own team, FC Ilves continued to play in lower divisions and Tampere United inherited its place in the top division.
