Like all eagles, it belongs to the family Accipitridae. Français : Description: L'Aigle royal (Aquila chrisaetos) est l'un des oiseaux de proie les plus célèbres de l'hémisphere nord. Comme tous les autres aigles, il appartient à la famille des Accipitridés. Italiano: Descrizione: L'aquila reale Aquila chrysaetos è forse il più noto uccello da preda nell'emisfero boreale. Come tutte le aquile appartiene alla famiglia degli Accipitridi. Essendo la specie più comune, è diventato il rapace per antonomasia, venendo molto spesso chiamato semplicemente "Aquila".
