Rosemarie Said Zahlan

Rosemarie Said Zahlan née le 20 aout 1937 au Caire et décédée le 10 mai 2006 ,est une historienne et écrivain palestinienne sœur de Edward Said . Elle écrivait pour des journaux comme le Financial Times , et des revues comme Middle East Journal , International Journal of Middle East Studies et Encyclopaedia of Islam .

Après des études en musicologie au Bryn Mawr College , elle enseigna au Caire puis à l'Université américaine de Beyrouth . Elle va ensuite à Londres où elle obtint un doctorat de School of Oriental and African Studies .
