Roselea Arbana "Rose" Brogdon (née le 15 août 1925 à Boaz en Alabama - morte le 15 avril 1998 à Ashland dans l'Oregon était une chanteuse, compositrice et une violoniste de country music . Elle désigné sous le nom "The Original Hillbilly Filly" et "The Grandmother of Rockabilly".
Maddox était la chanteuse de Maddox Brothers and Rose. En 1996 elle a été recue un Grammy award pour son disque $35 and a Dream.L'histoire de sa vie et celle de son groupe est raconré dans le livre Ramblin' Rose: The Life and Career of Rose Maddox de Jonny Whiteside. ISBN 0-8265-1269-0.
