Co-produit avec Mike Hedges, cet album de Siouxsie and the Banshees sorti en septembre 1988, est très éclectique. Ceci est dû à l'arrivée du multi-instrumentaliste, Martin Mc Carrick aux claviers et au violoncelle, qui s'est joint au groupe avec un nouveau guitariste, Jon Klein.
