Damaged by a mine in the Persian Gulf, the guided missile frigate USS Samuel B. Roberts is transported by the Mighty Servant 2 to Newport, Rhode Island.
English: The Oliver Hazard Perry class of en:frigate=frigates were designed by the U.S. Navy in the 1970s as general-purpose escort vessels capable enough to do most jobs adequately, yet cheap enough to be bought in large quantities.
