Larry Hagman est un acteur américain, né le 21 septembre 1931 à Fort Worth, au Texas (États-Unis).

Il fut le héros masculin de la série étatsunienne Jinny de mes rêves, dans le rôle de Tony Nelson, puis l'un des héros centraux de Dallas, où il interprète le rôle de John Ross (JR) Ewing, redoutable homme d'affaire et manipulateur sans scrupules. Il est marié depuis 48 ans à une suédoise, décoratrice d'intérieur avec laquelle il a eu deux garçons et cinq petites filles. À 76 ans, il vit paisiblement entre les États-Unis et de fréquents voyages à Paris notamment. Il conduit toujours sa Harley Davidson et sa Ferrari pour se balader du coté de Malibu, malgré sa greffe de foie suite à des problèmes d'alcool.

Il est aujourd'hui (2008) militant actif pour l'usage des énergies renouvelables et possède une maison qu'il décrit sur son site web comme entièrement autoalimentée en énergie.
