Discuter:Langues altaïques

It's right that Turkic languages are on group of Uralic-Altaic languages which has similar structures and geography which also includes Japanese, Korean, Mari Language, Hungarian, Karelian, Estonian, Mongolian and Finnish etc according the Uralic-Altaic Languages Hypothesis... On the Altaic branch, there are the languages Korean, Japanese, Tungus, Mongolic and Turkic languages.

So it's so weak to say that only one related language with Turkish can be Mongolian. I can even clearly say that there are more Chinese and Greek words in Turkish then Mongolian.

Other point is that, the language Tatarian is between Mongolian and Turkish whilst Bashkir is more closer to Finnic Languages. Also the ancient Huns who are the formers of Hungary used to be a Turkic civilization too.

Also Gagausians who speak Gagaus Turkish are more mixed with Romanians and Russians. And ancestors of Bulgarians were Turks too until they have assimilated by Russians.
