Keith Thornton, plus connu sous le nom de Kool Keith est un rappeur et producteur américain originaire du sud du Bronx.

Au cours de sa carrière il emprunte de multiples pseudonymes : Dr. Octagon, Rhythm X, Mr Gerbik, Willie Biggs, Reverend Tom, Sinister 6000, Black Elvis, Dr. Dooom ou encore Robbie Analog. Il se fait connaître de la scène internationale avec le groupe Ultramagnetic MCs. Considéré par la presse spécialisée comme un avant-gardiste du hip-hop, Kool Keith s'entoure de DJ renommés comme DJ Shadow, DJ Q-Bert ou Dan the Automator.
