Kenneth Anger

Kenneth Anger (Kenneth Anglemyer) est né en 1927 à Santa Monica, Californie. Il pratique la danse dès son enfance, et commence très tôt la réalisation de films (Fireworks en 1947). Il vit à Paris dans les années 1950, où il rencontre Jean Cocteau. Un des pionniers du cinéma expérimental, son univers est notamment empreint d'une iconographie gay et mystique. Adepte de Aleister Crowley, il est aussi l'auteur du livre Hollywood Babylon.
