John Franklin Jameson (19 septembre 1859 – 28 septembre 1937) était un historien américain, auteur et éditeur de journal. Il est né à Somerville (Massachusetts), fils d'un maître d'école et avocat John Jameson, et de Mariette Thompson. Il sorti diplômé de l'Amherst College en 1879. Il enseigna à l'université Brown en 1888.
