Português: Detalhe de quadro a óleo sobre a Independência do Brasil, de François-René Moreaux, um pintor francês então residente no Rio, que hoje é conservado no Museu Imperial de Petrópolis/RJ. Foi executado em 1844, a pedido do Senado imperial.
Este quadro é anterior ao de Pedro Américo e pode ter lhe servido de inspiração.
