This is a very promising page, and already contains a strong body of material about nationality as defined by the law.

• A short (one-to-three sentence) introduction at the start of the article would be useful.
• Your opening section, which lays out present-day conditions, is clear and quite a good way to begin the article.
• The population section is promising, though its relevance to nationality could be articulated more clearly.
• What was the nationality situation before 1895?
• Your discussion of nationality as defined by constitution and martial law is clear and strong. The more you can say about the implementation and effects of these laws the better. This section mostly concerns political and civil nationality. What about the rest? Migration and military service? What about the questions of ethnicity and identity that you raised earlier?
