I noticed my picture in the french wikipedia, which is fine. The french text can be misleading however, because also the males of Rana temporaria can become greyish blue in the breeding season which can cause a lot of confusion to the observers movie at youtube. Therefore I modified the text under the photograph. viridiflavus (commons)

[modifier] Small tympan

It is easy to see that the tympan of the blue coloured frog in the picture is much smaller than the diameter of the eye. Rana temporaria has a bigger tympan then Rana arvalis. viridiflavus (commons).
