Le Gold Dagger Award (Prix du poignard d'or) est un prix littéraire britannique décerné annuellement par le Crime Writers' Association (Association des écrivains de romans policiers), au meilleur roman policier de l'année.

Créé en 1955 sous le titre Crossed Red Herring Award, il devient le Gold dagger Award en 1960, puis le Macallan Gold Dagger de 1995 à 2002 lorsque Macallan en devient le sponsor.

De 1969 à 2005, un second prix, le Silver Dagger Award (prix du poignard d'argent) est décerné au candidat placé second. Cette récompense est supprimée en 2006, lorsqu'un nouveau sponsor, la banque Duncan Lawrie, reprend le flambeau. Le prix devient alors le Duncan Lawrie Dagger et il est doté d'une somme de £20.000, ce qui en fait le prix du roman policier le plus richement doté du monde.
