Behind the Sun (1985) est un album du guitariste, chanteur et compositeur de blues et de rock britannique Eric Clapton.

Les chansons "She’s Waiting", “Same Old Blues” et “Just Like a Prisoner” sont en rapport avec les relations d'Éric Clapton et de sa femme Pattie Boyd avec laquelle il se séparera peu de temps après l'enregistrement de l'album. Cette dernière est créditée de la photographie de la pochette du disque.

Phil Collins a produit la version finale de l'album, reprenant ce qui avait été fait intialement par Ted Templeman, Lenny Waronker.
