De acordo com o Art.2º da Lei 229 de 1959: O Brasão conterá o símbolo das fontes de produção da Comuna, representado pelo Pinheiro, Trigo, Cavalo, Boi e Agricultura mecanizada, encimado pela Cruz reverenciando Deus, nomenclatura do Município com o nº da Lei Provincial que o criou, o azul representa o céu e as águas e o branco representa a paz.
