Annette O'Toole de son nom original Annette Toole est une actrice, productrice et scénariste américaine née le 1er avril 1952 à Houston, Texas (États-Unis). Elle a été marièe une première fois le 8 avril 1983 à Nell Geisslinger et eut deux enfants. Elle divorce en 1993 et se re-marie avec Micheal McKean le 20 Mars 1999. Danseuse, chanteuse et actrice de talent, elle joua Lana Lang dans superman III avant d'interpréter la mère de Clark Kent dans Smallville.
