`Une de mon modifications est annulee parce qu´elle est contrevient a voc REGLES ???????

Think about your neutrality, Marie Sklodowska-Curie was a polish women, grow up and educated in Poland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She study and start her Nobel-work in Poland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then she married Pierre and got the franch nationality!!!!!!!!!

YOU CAN´T IGNORE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!! I have only correkt it. It was right for a moment, like at the Polish, German and English site !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO WHWERE IS YOUR PROBLEM ???????????

nevermind

Just see this webpage please : [1]. The Nobel foundation says that Marie Curie is a french nobel awarded scientific. If you have a source explaining that Maire Curie is a polish awarded scientific, no problem. Just show it. But I think that the Nobel foundation's webpage is the better source. [modifier] Controversial corrections should be discussed first, no edit war

Hi,
It is true that Maria Skłodowska-Curie was both a Pole and a French, which is clearly stated in her article. However, the Nobel prize was attributed to her as a French researcher, as the Nobel Foundation states. (This is unfair, but Wikipedia should report knowledge as it is reported, not as we would like it to be, this is the basics of neutrality of point of view). Thus,
1) the column "nationality" in the table is ambiguous and it should be clarified. Since the Nobel Foundation is perhaps the more reliable source concerning Noble prizes it should be "nationality according to the Nobel Foundation". (I take notice that the Polish Wikipedia chose not to mention the nationalities in the laureate lists, see here for instance.)
2) her actual nationalities (one should check that she hadn't lost her Polish nationality at the time) could also be mentioned, either as a footnote (I'm sure one finds historical sources stating she is to be considered French-Polish Nobel prize winner despite of the NF's sayings, so go for them and it will be accepted!) or in a separate column about the actual nationality of the laureates (if one finds publications dealing the actual nationality of Nobel prize laureates in general).
As a general rule, one should not persist in editions that are not accepted; you'd rather first go to the talk page and give reliable sources in order to obtain consensus, then go and edit. If you persist in your controversial and unilaterally edits (see edit war), you may be blocked for writing. I hope you'll take a more friendly approach and explain your points on the talk page.

[modifier] Hi, here is Nevermind again....

Well my real name is Thomas-Richard and oct. 12. we started a interessant discussion (battle ??? ;) ) at the Nobelprice/Phisic site.(Maria Sklodowska-Curie) I´m an polish born german with french family-parts from my mother side. They live in the near of Strassbourg. Please "exuse moi" that my french-understanding is better that the speach..... It isn´t always easy to use four languages......3speak-languages, one not bad understanding(France)....but talking in your language is still a big problem. Although I had french as the "third" language in school since the 7th" class!!! It looks like you are the keeper of the french M.S.C. site, and perhaps more....well, it´s not so important at all.... Do you think it´s political correct what you and more other "Viva la France"-guys are doing there ????? I never was sure for which country I should be proud of, I always tried to be neutral. But your way is strickly nationalistic. You try to say the Nobel-Comité offert the price to France (H.Becèquerell,M.Sklodowska-Curie, P.Curie (Phisics)) because the developement and the discovery were only a french Income........That isn´t right.....IT isn´t right!!! Marias second price in chemistry also was not a "France-story".

I never would say a word against the french history. I love F.M.Arouet(Voltaire) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will laugh, I have a Voltaire-tatoo !!!!!!

But to jewell your country with half-strange feathers is under your dignity....

I would never say a word when M.S.C. were growed up in france, but it isn´t so... She learned in poland (which did not exist in this time) she was educated in poland (it was forbiden to study for woman and polish people....russian justice) and she went to france because russia has forbiden to study woman in poland at 1895-97!!!!!!!!!!!!

She learn phisics and chemistry during working in poland!!!!!

To say, she were only french and also her work, only because she has married Pierre, and has worked for H.Becequerell is stupid like to say Napoleon was a Polish-Man only because he loved, f..?%&§$ and wanted to mary Maria Walewska, during having a son with her (Alexandre Colonna-Walewski.)!!!!!!!!

I red at the french M.S.C. side that people say she were a french woman because she had married Pierre....

history can be magnificant......and cruel...

nevermind

It's not a battle, it's trully a discussion. But just one question : how can you say that I'm french ? Do you know there is a lot of people speaking french in the world ? Belgium , Canada, Swiss, severals countries in north ans equatorial Africa, for example. You are acting in wikipedia like a pole man, but I'm not acting here like a french one.
I just want you to exhibit a relevant source showing that the physic and chemistry nobel prizes were offered to a pole sicentific. I understand all your objections but, do you know what ? I agree with you : it's not fair, and maybe it is an historical injustice. But we are not rebuilding history nor looking at the Truth, just writing another time history made by some else. In our case the story has been written by he Nobel foundation, and I can't change that. Please, if you want to discuss about the nationalities, the childness or whatever about Marie Curie's life, you can edit Marie Curie's article which is the only right place.
