Wayne Knight est un acteur américain né le 7 août 1955 à Cartersville, Géorgie (États-Unis).

À l'université, son professeur lui a dit qu'il ne serait jamais acteur. Il a cependant eu des rôles importants dans le cinéma américain, notamment dans les films JFK, Jurassic Park et Basic Instinct. Le directeur Steven Spielberg l'a choisi en premier après l'avoir vu dans la scène interrogatoire de Basic Instinct. À la télévision, il est surtout connu pour ses rôles dans Seinfeld et Troisième planète après le Soleil. Il a perdu beaucoup de poids dernièrement et actuellement il joue la voix du chat Dojo Kanocho Cho sur le canal WB.
