Description

Taoist dragon with the Taijitu, the symbol representing the Tao. In Taoism, the dragon is an allegory of the positive essence of the Tao and the Tao itself. The Tao is the universe, the nature of the universe, the spiritual essence of the cosmos. It gives order to the chaos through the two principles of yin and yang, the nondualistic aspects residing in everything, all events, all non-living things and all living beings.
