[modifier] What is our religion today?

Religion is today a system of thinking that recognizes a god and performs some sort of adoration of that fod. It can be defined as the worship of god or a particular faith. But in fact, many people consider that all religious faith is irrational; those who don't care about religion are called atheists.

Henry Louis Mencken, a twentieth-century journalist who was born in United-States, said: « Faith may be defined briefly as an illogical belief in the occurence of the improbable ». The philosopher Karl Marx believed religion to be a social construct, and he believed that religion is bad to humanity because it dissuades the people from pursuing a solution to their problems, because religion promises that the faithful shall join paradise after his death. He said: « It is the opium of the people ».

The worst result of religion today in the world seems to be religious war, but religion brings sometimes racism: religious terrorist organisations such as the Ku Klux Klan or the Hezbollah hold racist views, it can be dangerous. When religion is a self faith, and if it brings respect, tolerance and knowledge, then religion can be good.

[modifier] Happiness and Loneliness

Too many ideas are running into my head
Just give me your hand, I'll give you my heart
Don't forget, I exist, I'm not dead
And will come a moment where I'll leave earth

Happiness brings a flower bloom
Like the heart of people who fall in love
Loneliness is waiting the heart
Of people who don't bring their feelings to hatch

Kiss my heart with your happiness
It gives me a reason to wake up each morning
Bring the earth your love and give your loneliness up
And my heart will be safe, when I'll be safe in myself.
