Rex Robert Brown, né le 27 Juin 1964 à Graham au Texas, était le bassiste du groupe de thrash metal américain Pantera jusqu'à leur dissolution en 2003. Ensuite, il rejoint Down un groupe crée par le chanteur de Pantera, Phil Anselmo pour remplacer le bassiste Todd Strange. Il a plus récemment joué sur l'album du groupe Crowbar, sur Lifesblood For The Downtrodden.
