Peter Coyote, de son vrai nom Peter Cohon, est un acteur américain né le 10 octobre 1942 à Colver, Pennsylvanie (États-Unis). Peter Coyote parle couramment le français, mais avec un certain accent. Dans son film Bon Voyage, Jean-Paul Rappeneau a ainsi pu placer Coyote dans la peau d'un journaliste anglais, travaillant en réalité comme espion pour les allemands (ainsi la polémique à laquelle on assista récemment, selon laquelle le "journaliste" serait allemand, et non anglais, n'a pas lieu d'être).
