Lloyd Cole (né le 31 janvier 1961) est un chanteur/compositeur anglais, qui officia en tant que chanteur principal de Lloyd Cole and the Commotions de 1984 à 1989 avant de poursuivre une carrière solo. Leur premier album "Rattlesnakes" a été considéré et est toujours considéré comme l'un des meilleurs albums de ces cinquante dernières années. Il sera suivi de 3 albums; puis en solo Lloyd Cole gardera l'aura de songwriter, avec en plus des productions géniales (comme "Love Story"). En 2000 il sort "Negatives" avec le groupe The Negatives. Aujourd'hui autoproduit, ses albums sont anecdotiques et confidentiels tout comme son dernier album "Antidepressant".
