Huntley Gordon est un acteur canadien né le 8 octobre 1887 à Montréal (Québec), qui servi dans l’armée de son pays pendant la première guerre mondiale entre fin 1916 et 1918. Il meurt d’une attaque cérébrale le 7 décembre 1956 à Van Nuys en Californie et est enterré dans le cimetière de Forest Lawn Mémorial Park de Glendale en Californie.

Huntley Gordon est un acteur canadien qui commence sa carrière pendant le conflit mondial 1914-1918 en tant qu’acteur dès les années 1916. Son premier film tourné pendant son engagement en Angleterre où il était basé, possédait comme arrière plan le conflit mondial de la première guerre et après sa démobilisation il est demandé par les firmes Hollywoodiennes qui recherchaient des acteurs au regard suave et à l’allure élégante et distinguée, adaptées pour les films muets. Toujours demandé par Hollywood pendant la période des films parlants dès les années 1928, Huntly Gordon a voyagé entre l’Angleterre et les États-Unis pour tourner plus de 120 films avec les studios de la Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. Il se retire vers les années 1940 pour se réorienter vers la fabrication des bas de soie, affaire lucrative grâce aux restrictions de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. On le verra souvent dans des interviews radiophoniques canadiennes et anglaises.
