Description
English: Coat of arms of the Portuguese National Republican Guard.
Português: Armas da Guarda Nacional Republicana. Descrição Heráldica: Escudo de verde, uma espada antiga de ouro sustida por dois dragões afrontados do mesmo, animados, lampassados e armados de vermelho; elmo militar de prata, colocado a três quartos para a dextra, tauxiado de ouro e forrado de verde; Correia de verde afiveladas de ouro; Paquife e virol de verde e de ouro;

TIMBRE: um dragão do escudo empunhando na garra dextra uma espada antiga de ouro. Circundando o escudo, o colar da Ordem Militar da Torre e Espada;

DIVISA: num listel de branco, ondulado, sotoposto ao escudo em letra maiúsculas de negro, de estilo elzevir: "PELA LEI E PELA GREI".
