David Mitrany (1888 – 1975), né en Roumanie et naturalisé Britannique, était un professeur d'économie internationale. Il a enseigné à Harvard, à Yale et à Princeton. Son travail porte notamment sur la théorie fonctionnaliste, qui est une des approches libérales des relations internationales.
