Claudius Aymand

Claudius Aymand (1660-1740) était un chirurgien français, connu pour avoir réalisé la première appendicectomie en 1736[1]. Le patient était un garçon de 11 ans, qui présentait une hernie inguinale associée à une inflammation aigue de l'appendice.[2]
