Burl Ives est un acteur américain, né le 14 juin 1909 à Hunt, dans l'Illinois, et décédé le 14 avril 1995 à Anacortes, Washington (États-Unis). Burl Ives était aussi un chanteur de chansons traditionnelles, doté d'un impressionnant répertoire, qui a enregistré de nombreux disques, et mis son talent de chanteur au service de nombreux films.
