Animateur de radio depuis l'âge tendre de douze ans, Dan Robichaud est une figure de proue parmi les radios communautaires francophones du Canada depuis plus de 18 ans. Il fut animateur à Radio Clare CIFA 104,1FM pendant huit ans, metteur-en-ondes à Radio-Canada, producteur délégué du Gala de la Chanson de la Nouvelle-Écosse entre 2001 et 2004, realisateur d'un projet de rediffusion par internet pendant le Congrès Mondial Acadien de 2004 parmis CIFA, CKJM, CKRH et autres.

Depuis 2004 Dan co-anime l'émission Trois Beaux Canards à l'antenne de CKDU 88,1 FM rediffusé au CHMA 106,1FM. L’émission de radio francophone d’Halifax, animée par Leighton Steele et Daniel Robichaud, a reçu le prix de la meilleure diffusion spécialisée lors du Gala des CKDU Radio Awards

Daniel Robichaud has spent a decade in functions across diverse organizations within the arts and cultural industry. His service has included production and sales for public and private networks; planning and administering major festivals for events planning organizations; and negotiating contracts for international and domestic media.

He has received numerous nominations for excellence in technical production and was awarded the prestigious Prix Éloize as the most promising emerging artist; he has published artist catalogues, produced radio variety and news programs, and created an independent review board for singer-songwriters.

As a global professional with expertise in representing organizations to senior level executives, government officials, and delegates from throughout Canada, Europe, and French-speaking Africa, Daniel has regularly attended and led trade missions and served on export strategy committees.

Daniel’s academic background lies in a solid foundation of theatre studies from Université Sainte-Anne, as well as French Language and Literature Accreditation from Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).

Notable philanthropies include provincial and national arts umbrella directorships, having served as vice-chairman of Cultural Federations of Nova Scotia, he was the founding president of the performing arts buying group “Radarts”, and served several years on the national board of directors of Fédération Culturelle-Canadienne Francaise.

Currently, Dan is deeply engaged in his community. In addition he has been actively involved in community radio from an early age and hosts an award-winning radio program on CKDU and CHMA Radio. Daniel Robichaud has extensive past appointments to peer juries as well as a diverse curriculum of speaking engagements.
